CHILD GROUP PENCIL PORTRAITS – PURE INNOCENCE
The key to creating the perfect child group pencil portrait is to capture the innocence, purity and beauty of the child. Their natural zest for life and excitement over the simple things in life is the most addictive part of a childs personality.
When you commission a child group pencil portrait, you want a pencil portrait that captures the childs true character and personality, I work to the finest of detail capturing the facial expressions and childs character perfectly. Their soft wispy hair and unblemished skin reflected in soft tones will create a truly remarkable group child pencil portrait.
When drawing a child group pencil drawing I usually have a variety of different photos to work from. This allows me to get a good colour average of their different features, such as eyes, hair and skin tone. The reference you supply can be physical photo prints or digital copies, whichever is fine as long as they are sharp with a good level of clarity.
If you are taking new photographs specifically for the child pencil portrait commission, it is always a good idea to take these outdoors in natural light, this shows the childs colouration as true to life as you can get. If you take photos indoors, indoor lighting can put yellow tints on subjects and distort the true colour representation. Please view my photo guide this may be of help to you when taking photos.
