PENCIL PORTRAIT DRAWINGS OF CHILDREN – HEADSHOT SIZES
The size is very dependent on the pose you choose for the childrens portrait drawing, if you are looking at a head shot, A3 is the most common choice. At A3 it will be life size so add to the more natural look of the child portrait. And remember take into account, when framed, it will add another 3-4 inches to the height and width, so not be too big to take over the room it will be hung.
If you are looking for a double child portrait drawing, again one that is just head and shoulders of the subjects, then A2 is a great choice. At this size it will allow me to capture enough detail for a photo realistic finish. A lot of people who opt for a larger child portrait, have more of a preference to have it in colour. If you are looking for a dramatic piece of artwork, then being in full colour will add immensely to the overall impact of the drawing. Please see prices/order page for full details.
