With such individual characters it is essential to capture this within any drawings of dogs to reflect the true nature and individuality of the animal. When thinking about ordering a drawing of your dog, you may be wondering what is the best pose to choose and the best way to capture it. In my experience most dog owners have a vast array of photos they have taken over the while, showing all manner of poses and reflecting sone great character. If by chance you don’t have that many photos already or you don’t have that perfect photo to use for a drawing of your dog then its quite quick and easy to grab that perfect shot.
When it comes to taking the photo of that perfect pose of your dog just snap away, maybe when you’re on a walk or just sitting around the house, and more than likely you will get some awesome photos without even trying to hard. If you are struggling to take the best photo I have put together a quick guide that may be of use to you and give you a few useful pointers.
Once you have the perfect photo you would like me to use for the drawing of your dog drop them over to me via email I will be happy to discuss these with you and can even combine 2-3 different photos to create the perfect composition for the drawing of your dog.
SIZES FOR DRAWINGS OF DOGS
Depending how many dogs you would like in your drawing or different poses will depend on the size of drawing to choose. As a benchmark if you are looking for a drawing of your dog with just 1 pose, A4 or A3 will be a perfect size. If you are wanting a drawing with multiple poses or different dogs, the size may be better if it is A2, this will allow up to 6 different poses or subjects within the one drawing. If you are not too sure, please feel free to drop me an email and I will be glad to advise and remember you can also have a mix of colour and black and white drawings in the one drawing of dogs.
DRAWINGS OF DOGS IN BLACK AND WHITE
The classic drawing of a dog in black and white is one of the most popular choices of people wanting a dog drawing. Focusing just on the head and shoulders allows the drawing to show the character and wonderful personality of the dog and also allows me to pick up on the most amount of detail creating a very realistic drawing of your dog.
