CHOOSING A FRAME FOR YOUR PENCIL PORTRAIT DRAWING

As you can imagine there are hundreds of frames styles available, over the years I have managed to gather a set of 6 different frame styles, that both compliment all my pencil drawing artworks perfectly, as well as suit most homes, from the traditional to the ultra modern.

If you have a particular style that is not included in my range, please feel free to discuss this with me, I will be happy to accommodate your requirements. Due to me bulk buying the 6 styles shown below, if you choose something unique there may be an additional charge. All frames come glazed and with a mount to compliment the artwork. 

NOT SURE WHAT FRAME TO CHOOSE?

No problem, the majority of my customers let me choose the frame and mount for them, I always choose a frame and mount style that compliments the artwork perfectly. I always aim to dramatically enhance the overall appearance of the artwork with the mount and frame, usually choosing a heavy frame and wide mount to set off the artwork perfectly.

FRAME SELECTION

Dusty Brown frame

Dusty Brown

A soft toned frame, to let the artwork shine. This frame comes inclusive of a mount in a colour to compliment the artwork. The frame is approx 2 inches wide and its neutral colours will fit well in any room setting.

Warm Walnut Frame

Warm Walnut

The warm brown and red tones of walnut will look superb against most coloured portrait drawings. The frame comes complete with a mount in a colour to suit the artwork. The frame itself is approx 2 inches wide.

Sharp White

Sharp White

A more contemporary style and colour of frame. Being white will set off any artwork superbly. The frame also comes with an inset 2 inch mount, in a colour to match the artwork colour scheme. The frame itself comes in 1 &  2 inch widths, the choice will depend on the overall size of the artwork.

Washed Oak

Washed Oak

A favourite frame chosen by a lot of customers. This 3 inch wide, washed oak frame looks very special and with its 2 inch inset mount makes any artwork look a million dollars. Usually finished with a cream mount, but can be changed if required to suit the artwork colour scheme.

Narrow Black

Narrow Black

Another contemporary looking frame, this sleek black frame with a 2 inch inset mount, also edged in black, will suit any modern dwelling perfectly. The frame itself is quite a delicate 1/2-3/4 of an inch, so ideal for smaller pencil drawings. This is a firm favourite of customers ordering graphite pencil drawings, complementing them perfectly.

Bright Pine

Bright Pine

A more traditional looking frame. This 2 inch wide pine frame will fit in with the more traditional cottage style setting, and with its soft cream mount will warm any room perfectly. The mount colour can be changed to suit the artwork if required, but as its neutral will work well on most compositions.
