Isla & Obi, this stunning pair of Lurcher dogs were a great subject to draw. The muscular stature and refined shape of the Lurcher breed give great definition to the shape of the dogs and show them in quite a regal light. Isla, the dog the to left being white, needed me to pick up on the subtle elements of her shape to show her in the best light. Whereas Obi, the dog to the right, being brindle had a far more complex coat patternation, and took a lot of hours to highlight each aspect of his coat. The reference provided was excellent, hence why there is so much detail in the piece. Discover more about my pet drawing service.
